ChatGPT ads are here. B2B marketers are already struggling.
ChatGPT ads have no professional targeting filters. ContactLevel now pushes your CRM contacts or CSV lists to ChatGPT as an audience. In beta for all users.

ChatGPT just opened up ads. And B2B marketers are already complaining.
No surprise there.
It's the same story every time a consumer ad platform launches. Meta, Google, Reddit, X — none of them were built for B2B. No job title filters. No company size targeting. No industry selectors. LinkedIn is the only platform that ships professional targeting out of the box.
ChatGPT ads are no different. They're built for consumer advertisers selling shoes and subscriptions. Not for you trying to reach VPs of Marketing at mid-market SaaS companies.
So most B2B teams will try it, see garbage results, and move on.
Here's where it gets interesting.
ContactLevel now supports ChatGPT Ads
We just launched it in beta. You can push your CRM contacts or CSV lists directly to ChatGPT as an audience — with the same high match rates you're used to on LinkedIn, Meta, and Google.
Same setup. Upload your contacts. ContactLevel maps them to ChatGPT's ad system through our identity graph. Your ads show up in front of the actual people on your list. Not random consumers.
That's the whole point. ChatGPT doesn't give you professional filters. ContactLevel gives you the contacts instead.
One thing to know: ChatGPT has a minimum audience size of 25,000 people. That's much higher than LinkedIn (300) or Meta (a few hundred). Makes sense for a platform with hundreds of millions of users — they need scale to deliver impressions.
So this won't work for a tight ABM list of 500 decision-makers. But if you're running demand gen with larger prospect lists, or warming up outbound lists at scale, ChatGPT just became another channel you can actually use for B2B.
The beta is live now. All existing and new ContactLevel users can test it out today.
