Summary: Leadfeeder Alternatives: 2026 Comparison

Dealfront became Leadfeeder again in March 2026. What changed, what it identifies (companies, not people), current pricing, and the alternatives.

Key Features and Benefits:

  • The naming has reversed. Leadfeeder and Echobot merged into Dealfront in 2022 and launched under that brand in April 2023 — then on 24 March 2026 Dealfront became Leadfeeder again. Most comparison content on the web is still one rebrand behind.
  • Leadfeeder identifies companies, not people. Its own homepage claims "identifying up to 45% companies from website traffic." There is no person-level de-anonymisation.
  • Pricing is public and self-serve: free Lite tier, Discover €79/month billed annually (€113 monthly), Activate €369/month annually, Scale €599/month annual only, Enterprise custom. 14-day trial on the paid tiers.
  • The genuine differentiator is European coverage and GDPR posture — data processed and stored in the EU. That is the reason to pick it over a US-first tool, not the identification rate.
  • Campaigns (formerly Promote) runs IP-targeted programmatic display against company lists. It is account-level advertising through display inventory, not person-level targeting on LinkedIn or Meta.
  • ContactLevel is not a Leadfeeder replacement. It does not identify anonymous traffic. It takes known people and makes them reachable as ad audiences at 70-99% match rates on five platforms.

Leadfeeder identifies which companies visit your website by resolving their IP addresses, with strong European coverage and EU data residency. It does not name individuals. And as of 24 March 2026 it is no longer called Dealfront — the company reversed its own 2023 rebrand, which means most comparison content you'll find is a rename behind.

If you're researching this category you've probably hit contradictory pages: some say Leadfeeder became Dealfront, some say Dealfront is now Leadfeeder, and some list both as separate products. Let's fix that first, then get to what it does and what actually competes with it.

I'm Dag, co-founder of ContactLevel. We don't do what Leadfeeder does, so this isn't a takedown — it's the comparison I'd want if I were evaluating.

Is Leadfeeder the same as Dealfront?

Yes. Here's the full arc, because it's confusing enough that even vendor comparison pages get it wrong.

Leadfeeder's own words: "Dealfront is now Leadfeeder. Same powerful solutions. Same team you trust. New brand." The FAQ is more precise: "On March 24, 2026, Dealfront became Leadfeeder, unifying the entire platform under one brand." The legal contracting entities — Dealfront Group GmbH and its sister companies — remain unchanged and now do business under the Leadfeeder brand.

Product names moved too: Leadfeeder became Web Visitors, Promote became Campaigns, the Dealfront API became the Leadfeeder API, and the old Leadfeeder API became the Legacy Leadfeeder API.

Sources: leadfeeder.com/dealfront and the rebrand FAQ, both checked live 29 July 2026. If you land on a comparison page that still says "Leadfeeder is now Dealfront," it hasn't been touched since March.

There is a separate Dealfront alternatives page covering the same platform from the other name, since both are still searched.

What Leadfeeder is

Definition: Leadfeeder is a company-level website visitor identification and European B2B data platform. A tracking script logs visits, resolves the visitor's IP address to an organisation, and reports which companies viewed which pages, for how long, and how often — then routes those companies to Slack, email or a CRM. Alongside it sit a prospecting database (Target), IP-targeted display advertising (Campaigns) and list management (Lists).

Its homepage claim, checked live on 29 July 2026: "Identifying up to 45% companies from website traffic." That's a company-level figure — the share of sessions it can attribute to an organisation, not to a person.

What is Leadfeeder genuinely good at?

European coverage and GDPR posture. This is the real reason to buy it. Leadfeeder states it "uses data collected under Europe's highest privacy standards, and processes and stores all data within the EU under strict GDPR safeguards." Every US-first person-level tool in this category either excludes the EU outright or degrades to company-level there. Leadfeeder was built European.

It's cheap to start and self-serve. A genuinely free tier (last 100 companies a month, 7-day history), then €79/month billed annually. No sales call required to evaluate, 14-day trial on the paid tiers. That's unusual above the RB2B price point. The annual-versus-monthly gap is wider than it looks once you add credits, and Leadfeeder pricing works through each tier and what it actually unlocks.

Company-level works when person-level can't. IP-to-company resolution isn't glamorous, but it doesn't depend on a US consumer identity graph, so it degrades far less outside North America. For an EU-heavy ABM motion it's often the only signal you're going to get.

Where does Leadfeeder stop?

It never names the individual

This is the structural limit, and it's not a flaw so much as a category. Leadfeeder tells you Siemens looked at your pricing page. It does not tell you that the Director of Procurement did. For an ABM motion built around a buying group — and buying groups are the single most common thing our own customers describe — a company name is the start of the research, not the end of it.

The Target module offers a large contact database (the site cites 400M verified contacts) so you can look up plausible people at that company. That's prospecting, not identification. You're guessing at who the visitor was.

Campaigns is IP-targeted display, not person-level advertising

Campaigns (formerly Promote) buys programmatic display inventory through supply-side sources including Google, Rubicon, Appnexus and Pubmatic, and targets the IP ranges of companies you select. Everyone at the company sees the ad. That's account-level reach with all the waste that implies — and it's display inventory, not the LinkedIn, Meta and Google placements most B2B teams actually fund. The IP targeting for B2B guide covers where IP-based targeting holds up and where remote work broke it.

Company-level identification is a weaker signal than it was

Remote and hybrid work put a large share of B2B browsing on residential IPs that resolve to an ISP, not an employer. That's a headwind for every IP-based tool, and it's why "up to 45%" is a ceiling rather than an expectation.

How do you turn company signal into person-level reach?

If Leadfeeder is already telling you which companies are on your site, you have a list of accounts with demonstrated interest and no way to advertise to the humans inside them. Closing that gap is a four-step job.

1. Take the account list out of Leadfeeder. Filter it the way you'd filter anything — ICP fit, pages viewed, repeat visits. Companies that hit pricing twice are a different list from companies that read one blog post.

2. Decide who at those companies matters. This is the step Leadfeeder can't do for you and it's the one that determines whether the whole exercise works. In B2B the decision is made by a group — an economic buyer, a practitioner, a security or procurement gate. The buying group marketing guide covers how to assemble that list per account.

3. Enrich for the ad platforms, not the CRM. Your list holds work emails. Nobody signs up to Meta with their work email. A raw CSV of business emails typically matches 20-50% on ad platforms. ContactLevel maps each business identity to the personal identifiers the platforms actually match on — around 50-70 data points per contact against the 1-3 in a typical export — and match rates land at 70-99%.

4. Sync and run content matched to awareness. Push to LinkedIn, Meta, Google, Reddit or X and work the audiences inside the native ad managers. See contact-level advertising.

The result is that the account Leadfeeder flagged stops being a row in a dashboard and becomes six named people seeing your ads on the platforms they actually use.

The honest boundary

ContactLevel is not a Leadfeeder replacement.

→ We do not identify anonymous website traffic — not at company level, not at person level. No IP resolution product. → We do not sell a European B2B prospecting database. → We do not run programmatic display. → We track ad clicks and website visits resolved to the individual contact. Person-level impression tracking is on the roadmap and is not in the product today; what we track states the current position precisely.

What we do is take known people and make them reachable as ad audiences on five platforms at 70-99% match rates. If your question is "which companies are on my site," Leadfeeder answers it and we don't. If your question is "how do I get ads in front of these six specific people at this account," that's us.

If you're genuinely replacing Leadfeeder

Factors.ai — the closest like-for-like on company identification, with attribution and LinkedIn, Meta and Google Ads audience sync layered on. Account-level is global; contact-level is US-only and runs through an RB2B integration. From $199/month self-serve. See the Factors.ai comparison.

RB2B — if what you actually wanted was names, not companies. Person-level US only, free tier then $79-$199/month, five-minute install. See the RB2B comparison.

Warmly — person-level identification plus AI chat, email and ads bundled. Priced for larger teams at $10,000/year and up, sales-led. See the Warmly comparison.

Vector — person-level visitor ID plus contact-level ads in one product. Reveal from $399/month; Target from $3,000/month on annual commitment. See the Vector comparison.

If EU data residency is a hard requirement, be honest with yourself that none of the US-first person-level tools clears it. Leadfeeder's European posture is the thing you'd be giving up.

One gap none of them closes: every tool here only sees people who already found you. For person-level intent on buyers outside your traffic, Buyerfeeds — ContactLevel's sister product — turns a topic search into a feed of the named people researching it. More in the contact-level intent data guide.

Frequently asked questions

Is Leadfeeder the same as Dealfront?

Yes, and the rename has reversed. Leadfeeder and Echobot merged in 2022 and launched as Dealfront in April 2023. On 24 March 2026 Dealfront became Leadfeeder again. dealfront.com now redirects to leadfeeder.com. The legal contracting entities are unchanged and now trade under the Leadfeeder brand.

How much does Leadfeeder cost?

As of 29 July 2026: Lite €0/month (last 100 companies, 7-day history), Discover €79/month billed annually or €113 monthly, Activate €369/month annually or €527 monthly, Scale €599/month annual only, Enterprise custom. Paid tiers include a 14-day trial, and sign-up is self-serve.

Does Leadfeeder identify individual people?

No. It's company-level IP resolution. The Target module supplies a prospecting database of contacts at the identified company, but that's a lookup, not a resolution of the actual visitor.

What is Leadfeeder's identification rate?

Its homepage claims "identifying up to 45% companies from website traffic." That's a company-level number and isn't comparable to the person-level rates published by RB2B or Warmly.

What is the best Leadfeeder alternative?

Factors.ai for company-level plus attribution, from $199/month. RB2B for person-level US names, from $79/month. Warmly for person-level plus automated engagement. If EU data residency is the requirement, Leadfeeder is hard to replace.

What is Leadfeeder Campaigns?

The advertising module, renamed from Promote in March 2026. It runs IP-targeted programmatic display against company lists through supply-side sources including Google, Rubicon, Appnexus and Pubmatic. Account-level reach, display inventory.

Is ContactLevel a Leadfeeder alternative?

No. ContactLevel doesn't identify anonymous traffic. It takes known people, enriches them to the identifiers ad platforms match on, and syncs them to five platforms at 70-99% match rates.

Can I use Leadfeeder and ContactLevel together?

Yes. Leadfeeder names the companies, you decide who at those companies matters, and ContactLevel reaches those specific people with ads. Company signal in, person-level reach out.

Try the pairing

If Leadfeeder is already flagging accounts, the open question is what happens between "Siemens visited pricing" and "someone at Siemens replies."

→ Keep Leadfeeder for the company signal and the EU coverage. → Add ContactLevel to build the buying group at those accounts and reach them across five platforms — 14-day free trial, 10,000 free contacts, self-serve at audiences.contactlevel.com.
